International Day for Older Persons

October 1 marked the International Day for Older Persons. We celebrated it by highlighting an AMI Training article from Anne Kelly, AMI’s Head of Montessori for Dementia, Disability and Ageing (MDDA). Read Anne Kelly’s article here.

The year 2024 saw more than 350 students enrolled on MDDA courses in 12 countries including the first three workshops in China. Day Service Poppy in Japan has recently become the first care community to receive MDDA Global Accreditation. Learn more here.
